Co-living only works when every member can trust the people behind the other doors. That trust is built into the platform, not left to chance.
Screening, for everyone
Identity verification
Every applicant verifies a government ID plus a live selfie. Nobody moves in anonymously — including your homemates.
Background check
All members pass a background screening before approval. The same standard applies to every home, every market.
Income verification
We verify income with a soft pull only — no credit score minimum, and applying never affects your credit.
No physical tours — by design
We never walk strangers through an occupied home. Current members' privacy comes first, so every active home gets a full 3D walkthrough instead — you see the whole house, the room, and the shared spaces before you book. If the room still is not right after move-in, your first transfer to a different room is free within 14 days.
Cameras, disclosed and limited
Where cameras are allowed
Exterior and doorbell cameras only, and every device is disclosed on the listing before you book. If a camera is ever added, the listing updates and every current member is notified.
Where cameras are never allowed
Bedrooms and bathrooms, without exception. Unauthorized recording devices — including member-owned ones in shared spaces — are grounds for immediate termination.
Built into every home
- Secure locks on every bedroom and exterior door — door codes change at every move-out.
- You see the room's lock type (smart lock or punch code) before you book.
- Smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and fire extinguishers in every home.
- Railings on stairs, sealed flooring, working window egress, and exterior lighting.
If something goes wrong
In an emergency, call 911 first — then tell us. For anything else, file a safety report from your dashboard or contact support; our team is trained in trauma-informed care, and we can move you to another home fast when safety is the reason.
